TRAILS
Q. Are the mountain biking trails always open?
A. No. Trails may be closed due to poor trail conditions. Visit the LPP website or call us at (318) 251-5156 to check trail conditions before you head to the park for a ride.

Q. Is horseback riding allowed in the park?
A. No.

Q. Are hiking and running allowed on the trail?
A. Yes.

LAKE
Q. Is swimming allowed in the LPP lake?
A. Yes. Swimming is allowed in the designated swimming area when life guards are on duty (usually between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 10am to 6pm daily).

Q. Is fishing allowed on the LPP lake and ponds?
A. Yes; however, all fishing will follow Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries rules and regulations (link?). The use of nets, yo-yo’s, or trot lines is prohibited.

Q. Are boats allowed in the LPP lake?
A. Yes; however, you cannot crank or use a gasoline powered motor in the lake.
CAMPING
Q. Are camp fires allowed at LPP?
A. Yes. Camp fires are allowed in designated areas.

OTHER
Q. Is alcohol allowed at LPP?
A. No. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on park property.

Q. If no one is using one of the pavilions, can I use it without paying the rental fee?
A. No. All pavilions must be rented… no exceptions!

Q. Is hunting allowed in LPP?
A. No.
